New Delhi: Tej Pratap, the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s is likely to tie the knot with Aishwarya Rai, know next month.
Aishwarya Rai is the daughter of RJD MLA and Bihar’s former transport minister Chandrika Rai and the granddaughter of former Bihar chief minister Daroga Prasad Rai.
According to media reports, the marriage ceremony will take place in the second week of May. “The tentative date for the marriage is May 12, and the ring ceremony is expected to take place on April 18,” said close aide of Lalu on the condition of anonymity.
As soon reports of Lalu’s son’s wedding came to light, the bride’s name Aishwarya Rai sarted trending on Social media platforms.

The 25-year-old soon-to-be wife of Tej Partap hails from Chhapra also nicknamed Jhipsi, a word used to refer to light rains in Bihar as it drizzled on the day she was born.
She did her schooling from Bihar and moved to Delhi for her higher education. She did her MBA from Amity University.
She is eldest among her siblings. She has one sister, Ayushi Rai who is an engineer by profession and one brother Apurva Rai. Apurva is pursuing education in law. Her mother is a homemaker.
Earlier, Rabri Devi, mother and former Bihar CM Rabri Devi speaking to reporters had asserted that she wants daughters-in-law who “will respect them, abstain from trips to the mall, and run the house smoothly”
“Cinema hall aur mall jane wali ladki nahi chahiye. Ghar chalaane wali, bade buzurg ka aadar karne wali, jaise ki hum hain, waisi ladki chahiye. (I don’t want cinema hall and mall going girls. We would prefer a girl who can run homes, respect elders, and manage outside work, just like me).”
