Mumbai, July 30: “Career more important than family” a headline on a portal has ruffled the usually reticent Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
“If I want to remain in the film industry then I need to stay fit “ is what Aishwarya had stated and it was misconstrued as she will not have children and it furthers states that Abhishek was in agreement to this. Her spokesperson said that Aishwarya had remained silent even when media “married her off to a tree”.
But Aishwarya has had enough now and has issued a clarification to the effect that she would be forced to take legal recourse in any such event of a piece or article appearing without any credibility or which is an absolute fabrication of one’s imagination. “We would further like to request to cross check all source stories with the agency before going into print.” said her spokesperson.
The 14th edition of the Thiruvana-nthapuram International Film Festival (TIFF) organised by Chalachithra Film Society will begin here on July 31. 16 latest films from 12 countries will be shown in the ‘World Cinema’ section and 13 films from South Korea and Holland have been included in the ‘Focus’ section, a release said here.
A total of 40 films will be screened during the week-long event of which 16 will be shown in India for the first time. A separate section of German films will be screened at the Goethe Centre here as part of the festival.
