Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s comeback film ‘Jazbaa’ delayed

The much-awaited comeback movie of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, ‘Jazbaa’, has been delayed as her co-star Irrfan Khan has recently undergone a minor-surgery.

Shooting of ‘Jazbaa’ was all set to commence this month. However, Irrfan Khan underwent a minor operation for chronic backache and has been advised complete bed rest for a few days.

The director of the film Sanjay Gupta confirmed that the shooting has been put on hold owing to Irrfan Khan’s health.

“Yes, Irrfan has undergone a minor surgery and has been advised bed rest. His recovery is my priority and the shoot shall commence once he is fit. I can’t say anything about the exact date of the shoot but the script reading will definitely take place on Tuesday,” Gupta was quoted by Bollywoodlife as saying to a tabloid.

“Jazbaa” will mark Aishwarya’s return to the silver screen after her daughter’s birth in Nov 2011. The film also stars Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Siddhanth Kapoor.
