MUMBAI: After unceremoniously sacked by Salman Khan recently, high-profile business manager, Reshma Shetty is now managing Abhishek Bachchan’s profile.
And Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the mind behind this strategic move of hiring Salman’s ex manager to revive hubby’s unstable career.
Talking about Reshma managing the Junior Bachchan’s career, a source told Deccan Chronicle,
“Aishwarya felt Abhishek’s career needed a small push to catapult him to the top bracket once again. Of late, he hasn’t signed new films and is choosing to focus on the best possible projects.
Following his revamped priorities, his first new project will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biopic on poet-lyricist, Sahir Ludhianvi. Reshma has been brought in to oversee Abhishek’s forthcoming career moves and to position him as a prominent entertainment brand.”
A few months ago, Shetty was asked to leave after she had a fall out with Salman’s brother Sohail Khan.
On the work front, Aishwarya is currently shooting for Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra’s musical comedy drama “Fanney Khan” along with Anil Kumar and Rajkummar Rao.
