New Delhi: Telecom major Bharti Airtel on Thursday launched its 4G services in four cities of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur.
“We today launched 4G services in Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Raipur. We are going to start 4G services in other cities and towns of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the next two months,” Airtel’s MP and Chhattisgarh CEO Vir Inder Nath told reporters in Indore.
He said around 1.30 crore subscribers are presently using Airtel’s mobile service in the two states.
Asked about Reliance Jio’s entry into the market, Nath said at present the company has not disclosed detailed customer plans about the 4G service.
“Only after disclosure, the picture will be clear. We are offering services at a competitive rate and our 4G network is very strong,” he added.
