Air Marshal Ramesh Rai, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Training Command IAF visited Air Force Station Begumpet on Tuesday and reviewed various aspects of training facilities.
He was accompanied by Jyoti Rai, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional). The Air Marshal and his wife were received by Air Commodore Suresh Badyal Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station Begumpet and Mrs Meena Badyal.
Air Marshal Ramesh Rai has advised the personnel of the Station to adopt a much more professional approach towards their duties and to take the glorious service, IAF to much greater heights. He emphasized on the core values of “Mission, Integrity and Excellence” in pursuit of operational readiness as well in achieving highest standards of training of air warriors. Mrs Jyoti Rai interacted with the women officers and staff of the station and applauded them for the concerted and continued support they render to their husbands in performing their duties diligently.
The Air Marshal will be retiring from service on 31 July this year after rendering 39 years of glorious service to the nation. A highly experienced and decorated fighter pilot, the Air Marshal has flown various aircraft in the inventory of the IAF which includes GNATs and Jaguar. He has been recently appointed as the Honorary Air ADC to the President of India. (INN)
