New Delhi, June 29: An Air India plane flying to Hyderabad made an emergency landing here today, around an hour after take-off from the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The Delhi-Hyderabad-Tirupati Air India flight 942, with 70-odd passengers on board, made the landing at 1145 hrs when the pilot reported a technical snag, said a spokesperson for the Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) that operates the Delhi Airport. The airline said all passengers were flown to Hyderabad and Tirupati in another aircraft.
The spokesperson said there were some problems in the hydraulic system of the aircraft and the pilot decided to return to Delhi midway as a precautionary measure.
