Air India installs self-check-in kiosks at 26 airports

New Delhi: National passenger carrier Air India on Thursday said that it has installed self-check-in kiosks at 26 airports around the country for its domestic fliers.

According to the airline, under this initiative which had started on May 1, passengers can procure boarding passes by using the self-check-in kiosks — known as CUSS (Common Use Self Service) — near the check-in area at the airport.

“National carrier Air India has re-defined customer convenience by becoming the first airline to launch self-check-in kiosks for its domestic fliers that aims to make the customer service hassle free and the check-in process expeditious,” the airline said in a statement.

“The self-check-in kiosks helps in extended service availability, reduce customer wait time, eliminates queues, expands service capacity with multiple kiosks, thereby speeding up the check-in experience.”
