New Delhi: A Muscat-bound Air India flight, with 80 passengers on-board, today landed under emergency conditions at Indira Gandhi International Airport here after being airborne for some time as it developed hydraulic problem.
The flight, however, landed safely.
An Air India spokesperson said that the pilot decided to take back the aircraft to Delhi due to technical issue.
“The aircraft, an Airbus A319, landed safely at around 8:45 PM. All the 80 passengers also deplaned safely,” the spokesperson said.
He said that an alternative aircraft has been arranged to ferry the passengers to their destination, adding that the flight is expected to take off for Muscat shortly.
