Mumbai: Nearly 270 passengers were left stranded at Mumbai International Airport after their Mumbai-Ahmedabad flight was declared delayed at the last minute. It was scheduled to leave at 1.30 am today.
The Air India officials in their statement told that the flight- Dreamliner required a specially trained pilot to fly the plane who was unfortunately absent that day.
The flight passengers were reportedly made to wait without food or water or any accommodation for nearly 7 hours since 1 am. The agitated passengers staged a protest at the exit gate number 47.
However, according to the latest reports passengers were taken to Ahmedabad on a different flight that departed around 8.30 am Times Now reported.
