Air India effects transfers at senior and middle level

Mumbai, June 29: Air India today effected senior and middle level changes in its management as part of its turnaround plan, including shifting out two executive director level officer, airlines sources said here.

Air India’s Executive Director-Operations Rakesh Anand and its Western Region’s Executive Director, R Hariharan, were transferred in the exercise, they said.

Anand has been made Director-Training at Air India’s training centre in Hyderabad while Hariharan was posted as Executive Director — Special Business Units and other services, they added.

“Air India today transferred over 20 officials including its Executive Director-Operations Rakesh Anand as a part of its reshuffle exercise,” they said.

Those transferred include some GM-level officials as well.
