Indian Air Force will hold a recruitment rally at Dandamudi Raja Gopal Rao Indoor Stadium and Indira Gandhi Stadium in Vijayawada on June 5 and 8.
The IAF will conduct a written examination to recruit cadets for group X (Technical) grade from all the districts of Andhra Pradesh and also for Yanam (Union Territory). Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2 or equivalent examination) with mathematics, physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or a three year diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Information technology or Instrumentation Technology with 50 per cent marks in overall aggregate from a government recognised polytechnic institute.
For the candidates of Adilabad, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Nellore, Guntur, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Yanam (UT) there will be written exam on June 5 while for other districts including Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Krishna, Anantapur, Kurnool, Kadappa, Chittoor, Prakasham, West Godavari, East Godavari and Visakhaptanam written examination will be held on June 8.
According to an IAF press release, candidates should be born between 1st July 1991 and 30th September, 1995 and their height should be at least 152.5 cm. Candidates should bring along with them Nativity/Domicile certificate issued by the concerned district authority, seven copies of recent passport size colour photographs, two unstamped self addressed white envelops and all original educational certificates and marks sheets and NCC certificates as well.
