The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) will organise ‘National Management Week’ from August 1- 7 every year, starting this year.
During this program the faculty and students of the management schools across the country will meet various sections of the society like farmers, traders, entrepreneurs, visit hospitals, old age homes and prisons to indulge in some social service activities to benefit directly the society and help indirectly the country as a whole.
Briefing about the program AIMS President Prof Mohd Masood Ahmed informed that the segments included in the program were Rural and Community development activities, educational activities – Programs for schools and colleges, Health Care and Blood donation camps, Associating some NGOs and hospitals, Training small and tiny enterprise owners and managers, Visits to hospitals, old age homes and prisons, public and student awareness activities related to scholarships, road safety, RTI and Sports, including 2k or 5k run with other Colleges.
That the management institutes, interested to participate in the program, can take part in any one or more segments mentioned above. Prof Mohd Masood Ahmed said that best three management institutes will be presented Community Social Responsibility Award at the 24th AIMS annual management convention during 25 to 2th August this year.
