AIMPLB meeting to begin on Saturday

Hyderabad, April 21: According to a press note issued by All India Muslim Personal Law Board, executive meeting of the board is going to be held in Hyderabad on April 23 and 24.

The meeting will be presided over by Maulana Syed Rabe Husni Nadvi. The meeting will decide on filing of a petition against Allahbad High Court verdict on Babri Masjid case.

All India Muslim Personal Law Board has till now filed 4 petitions by Uttar Pradesh Sunni Waqf Board, Mohammad Hashim Ansari and Misbah Uddin and 4 more petitions are to be filed.

Apart from this 4 petitions are pending in the court which include, adoption issue, the second one relates to Darul Qaza, the third one is to declare homosexuality a crime, and the fourth one is regarding alimony to the Muslim divorcee.

The meeting will also review Right to Education Act which is implemented from April 1 2010.

The board will also review new tax law which will replace the present income tax act.
