AIMIM questions Swamy’s claim on Ram Mandir construction

Hyderabad : The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) on Thursday questioned Bharatiya Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy’s claim on construction of the Ram Temple by the end of this year and alleged that he is questioning the independence of the judiciary with his assertions.

“The first question which one needs to ask is: has Mr. Subramanian Swamy developed a knowledge of unseen? How does he know that the Supreme Court will give a judgment by December end? Secondly, how does he know that the judgment will be given in favor of Ram Mandir?” said AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

“You (Subramanian Swamy) are questioning the independence of judiciary, you are committing contempt of the court because now the matter is in the Supreme Court. And the SC will give a judgment based on law of evidence. I am really shocked. This has to be stopped. We want to know who in the SC told him about this,” he added.

Swamy today claimed that work on the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya would start before this year-end and added that an action plan for the same would be unveiled at a conference on January 9.

“Yes there is a conference that we have called. There are about 300 intellectuals, professors, researchers, scholars and so on who are patriotic people. We are not calling every opinion. We are calling only the opinion of those who are in favour of building of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. And the main problem is that most people don’t know the facts of the law of the situation, the archeological evidences of the temple and, therefore, those information will be exchanged in the seminar and we will prepare a blue print for the action,” Swamy told (ANI).
