New Delhi: Beginning tomorrow, AIIMS will hold its first public health and medical innovation conclave in association with French Embassy and the France-based FAM- Medical Academy Foundation.
Issues like progress of medical co-operation between the two nations, innovation in research and teaching, developments in treating skin pigmentation and cancer and others will be discussed during the conclave, which is to be held over two days, AIIMS officials said.
AIIMS spokesperson Amit Gupta said, “The three parties will facilitate co-operation between specialists in fields of medical science in accordance with the applicable laws, rules and regulations of the two nations and within the limits of financial resources of each party.”
Gupta said the organisers will also hold joint seminars and workshops in either country on domains of mutual interest and increasing opportunities of co-operation amongst stakeholders by way of sharing knowledge.
