AIIMS Nagpur invites prescribed format of applications from the eligible Indian Nationals for recruitment of faculty positions such as Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident and Tutor / Demonstrators on regular basis.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India has nominated JIPMER, Puducherry as mentoring institute to AIIMS, Nagpur. The last date for receipt of applications is 16th March 2018.

Vacancy Departments: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
Age Relaxation: 05 Years in case of post reserved for SC /ST candidates and 03 years for the post reserved for OBC candidate as per rules of the Govt. of India. Relaxation for Persons with Disabilities is admissible as per rules. Relaxation of 05 years for Government servants as per rules.
Essential Qualifications:
Faculty Posts ->
(1) A Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II or third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act.)
(2) A Postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD/MS in concerned medical discipline or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject.
(3) Experience – 14 Years for Professor, 10 Years for Additional Professor, 06 Years for Associate Professor, 03 Years for Assistant Professor.
Senior Residents ->
(1) A Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in respective / concerned discipline from recognized university/ Institute.
(2) If candidates i.e., MD/MS/DNB are not available/eligible in any particular specialty, those who are having 02 years Post Graduate Diploma after M.B.B.S in the concerned specialty can be considered.
Tutor / Demonstrator ->
(1) MBBS / M.Sc Post Graduate in concerned / respective medical discipline.
Application Fee: A Non-refundable fee of ₹ 500/- for General and OBC Category Candidates; ₹ 250/- for SC / ST Category Candidates. The fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD) in favour of the Director, JIPMER, Puducherry payable at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch, Puducherry-605006.
This fee exempted for PWD Category candidates.
Selection Process:
(1) For Faculty Posts -> Personal interview Only.
(2) For Senior Resident & Tutor/Demonstrator posts -> Written Test and Interview.
