AICC suspends Botcha for “anti-party activities”

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has suspended former PCC Chief Botcha Sathyanarayana on Friday on the charge of “indulging in anti-party activities” and the same was communicated to Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy.

It may be mentioned here a rumor doing rounds in both Telangna and Andhra Pradesh States since last one month that Botcha will leave the Congress and join the YSR Congress Pary on June 7.

APCC Chief N. Raghuveera Reddy said the Party high command suspended Botcha for his anti-party activities. He said the party took the decision to suspend him after speaking to Botcha twice.

On Revanth Reddy’s ‘note for vote’ episode, Raghuveera alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu played pivotal role in the episode. He suggested that one has to consider the CC footage of the TDP Office to know as to whom with Revanth Reddy spoke before meeting nominated MLA Stephenson. (NSS)
