AICC Secretary appeals youth to join Congress

AICC Secretary and in-charge of Andhra Pradesh affairs KB Krishna Murthy on Monday appealed to the youth to join the Congress party to take the nation forward.

Speaking at the inauguration of first State Executive meeting of National Students Union of India (NSUI) at Gandhi Bhavan, Krishna Murthy said that the party would encourage the youth to join active politics. He said the youth would play an active role in the next general elections and therefore, the party would encourage them in the electoral politics.

Krishna Murthy also accused YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy of imposing the by-elections for his selfish interest which would have an adverse impact on the State’s exchequer. He admitted that the results of by-elections would be very crucial for the party.

The meeting was also addressed by NSUI National Secretary Naveen Krishna, State president Rajiv Ratan and General Secretary Aamir Javeed. (INN)
