Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s political secretary Ahmed Patel on Sunday said that he was disappointed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ as he failed to speak on several critical issues.
“Prime Minister Modi did not say a word on flood victims or ModiGate. He also did not say a word on our falling exports. How is he going to do Mann Ki Baat with a stuck up mind,” said Patel.
In the ninth edition of his ‘Mann ki Baat’, the Prime Minister spoke on the importance of water conservation and called for the people to partake in his ‘Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao’ initiative, as well as hailing the worldwide celebrations of the International Yoga Day.
The Mann ki Baat programme, which aims to deliver the Prime Minister’s voice to the general masses of the country, was first aired on October 3, 2014. (ANI)
