TRS senior leader T Harish Rao has said that the people of the Telangana region got separated from the Seemandhra people mentally.
Speaking at Telangana Lab Technicians Association launching meeting at Telangana Bhavan here on Saturday, Harish Rao said that the Telugu people would remain united only after division of the State. He advised the integrationists to think in that direction and support division of the State wholeheartedly. Otherwise, the agitation for separate State would go on, he warned.
Demanding that the Centre announce separate Telangana State by keeping the prevailing situation in mind, he said that TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, who had said that he would write to the Centre, was not sincere on Telangana issue. He also alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was enacting a drama on Telangana issue only to protect his party base in the region. He also demanded that Chandrababu Naidu tender apologies to Telangana people before addressing a letter to the Centre.
