An elderly couple has allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison over property dispute in Mahadevapura, police said today.
Before taking the extreme step yesterday, the deceased informed their son about their plan to commit suicide, police
said, adding, the couple died at hospital.
The man was a native of Kolar and running timber business, police said. He wanted to renovate a small building, but one of his brothers told him that he didn’t own the house,police said.
Depressed over the issue, both took the extreme step, police said.
A case has been registered.
