After promising to bring out first job notification by January, the newly-formed Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPCS) is now aiming increase the criteria of age limi9t for Govt jobs.
The newly formed TSPCS aiming to bring recruitment reforms towards building a stronger system, there will be some major reforms in the recruitment process to benefit the aspirants. One of the proposals is to extend the upper age limit for state government jobs from 34 years to 40 years.
As already announced, the history of Telangana would also be added in the syllabus. According to the statistics available from the district employment officers, Currently there are around 11 lakh unemployed youth in the state of Telangana.
Apart from this, the officials are also planning to adopt ‘Kerala Model’ of recruitment process where all categories of posts ranging from Group I to Group IV and DSC will be brought under a single authority which is TSPSC, said a senior officer.
