Hyderabad, May 04: The Telangana Congress MPs are at it again. They are keen on opening their mouth at the high command on the issue of Telangana. After giving a two months gap to their struggle they are preparing to table the matter before the high command seeking the statehood for Telangana. This was necessitated in the wake of party’s submissive role in the Kadapa By-election campaign process.
The Telangana MPs say that the Telangana region would remain a stronghold of the party if the Congress party agrees the demand of the statehood. Otherwise if they continue to drag on the present matter the party would lose its hold both in Seemandhra and Telangana, a senior Congress leader in Telangana confided.
In the present context the party leaders are staying in the country’s capital and trying to influence the high command to take a positive decision. Three Congress MPs from the region are already stationed in Delhi to pressurise the high command and to strengthen the JAC of Delhi formed recently there.
