Govt. of AP has established Six Institutes of Information Technology throughout the State. Rajiv Gandhi Knowledge Technology University manages all these institutes.
Admission is given to the students who have passed SSC they are admitted into six year integrated course of Information Technology.
Every year, these institutes used to give admissions after making their selection at Mandal level. This year, admission procedure has been changed. Consequent on the change over to grade point system the management of these institutes are inviting applications from the eligible candidates. Admissions will now be given on merit basis. Very soon, notification will be issued by the Govt.
