Aftab Shivdasani: I don’t want to be a choco-boy anymore…

Mumbai, October 05: Aftab Shivdasani has come a long way now. After his roller-coaster acting career, the MAST-boy is all set to try his luck as a producer. And now he would be seen after a long time on silver screen, in Sanjay Gupta’s ACID FACTORY. ”Well the credit goes to Sanjay…he is the one who trusted me with such a complex character in ACID FACTORY,” Aftab says.

And was there any specific reason that he stayed off-camera for so long. Aftab quite calmly answers, ”The reason is simple enough, I didn’t like the scripts that came to me, and the scripts I was looking for, didn’t come to me (smiles).”

Now that he is happy to get his choice of role, Aftab throws some light on his character in the much awaited film ACID FACTORY, ”I play a ‘kaminey’ (rascal) type character. It’s a tough character to play and I am happy that I got a role that really made me grind everyday to get the best out of my performance.”
