Afridi named this Indian cricketer when asked who gave him the nickname ‘Boom Boom’

Shahid Afridi, a Pakistani cricketer who played 27 Tests, 350 One Day Internationals, and 59 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) for the Pakistani national team. He was a star player in Pakistan cricket team for triumph in the ICC World T20 back in 2009.

He has also hit the most number of sixes in the history of ODI cricket. He holds the record of most wickets in T20 from Pakistan.

Afridi recently conducted a Q and A session for his fans, #AskLala. One of the questions that were asked was who gave his nickname ‘Boom Boom’. He was quick to reply and revealed that it was current India head coach Ravi Shastri who gave him this nickname.
