Aligarh: Reacting strongly against the killing of Afrazul Islam in Rajasthan, Qari Mohammed Qamer Aalam Siddiqui, Vice President Jamiat Ulama Aligarh said the incident is the most tragic incident of India. The murder has proved that anti-social elements want to shroud India, from Kashmir to Kaniyakumari and from Kuch to Kohima, in saffron. He said poor and destitute labours are afraid of going anywhere to earn livelihood for their family. He demanded that the government execute the culprit as soon as possible, so that no one would dare to repeat such inhuman act.
Maulana Rameez Ali Khan argued that any person would commit such a crime only when he has full hope of protection. He said when Congress leader Mani Shankar Ayer said something about prime minister, the latter made such a hue and cry, but when a communal person killed the innocent armless person, PM had no words to condole or condemn the act. This shows that BJP is spreading venom in the entire country.
Maulana Jaber Ali claimed that Indian Muslims are facing situation like Myanmar.
Dr. Ahmed Saleem Shahi said BJP knows that it would be impossible to win the next election hence it wants disrupt peace to regain power.
A massive protest headed by All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen Syed Nazim Ali was staged at Jamalpur Eidgah and a memorandum was submitted to President and district administration demanding justice to the family of victim and punishment of the accused.
