Afrazul’s brutal killing: Country passing through difficult times, says Ram Puniyani

New Delhi: Prof. Ram Puniyani in a video, talked about Afrazul’s brutal killing. He said that many such incidents are taking place across India. Hatred is the reason behind the increase in such cases.

He recalled the killing of Graham Stuart Staines which occurred in Odisha and said that Graham along with his two sons was burnt alive by Bajrang Dal Activist Dara Singh.

Talking about the killings in the name of cow, he said that maximum persons who were killed are Muslims. Dalits are also targeted.

“Accused involved in the murder of Pehlu Khan and Mohammed Akhlaq are free now. Due to this, society will get a wrong message and miscreants will feel that this government will not take any action against them”, he said.

He also said that PM Modi’s silence will send the wrong message to the society.

In the video, he also spoke about how right-wing Hindu group is trying to protect the accused who was involved in the killing of Afrazul.

“This is an attempt to divide the people of the nation in the name of religion”, he added. He appealed to the secular people to unite against hatred.
