“I just wanted to express my regard for Regar. His commitment towards Hinduism inspired me. There was no intention to hurt anybody’s sentiments,” said Hari Singh Panwar, who organised the tableau and is the co-treasurer of Shiv Sena’s Jodhpur chapter, reported Hindustan Times.
Shambhu is currently in the Jodhpur jail after he allegedly hacked the 45-year-old migrant labourer from West Bengal to death and set his body on fire in Rajsamand district December 7, 2017.
After the barbaric act, he had also uploaded a series of videos, including the one of the crime to social media with inflammatory and communal comments to defend the act, in December which invited a nationwide outrage.
