Afraid of Kodandaram’s strength, KCR trying to suppress him: VH

Making it clear that the Congress party will extend its support to TJAC Chairman Kodandaram, AICC secretary V Hanumantha Rao said that Kodandaram has strength and hence Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was trying to suppress him politically. He warned KCR that the Congress party will not keep quiet if something happened to Kodandaram.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday, VH alleged that KCR was doing too much and running police Raj in the state. KCR was transforming Telangana state as boozers’ state. Dictatorial rule was running in both Telugu states, he alleged stating that the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu too behaving similar to KCR towards Mudragada Padmanabham. Chandrababu too didn’t give permission to Mudragada to conduct Padayatra or public meetings more so Chandrababu was resorting to arrests of Mudragada time and again, he quipped.

Stating that it was not correct to KCR to behave arrogantly towards the person who fought for the sake of separate Telangana state fully, VH said that it was atrocious on the part of KCR to obstruct Kodandaram to see that the latter not to participate in the meeting. The TRS government was intentionally obstructing Kodandaram’s Amaraveerula Spoorthy Yatra using police. The police was filing cases against Kodandaram under several sections they wished. Once KCR described Kodandaram as a replica of four crore people but the same KCR now scolding Kodandaram using abusive language. He asked KCR, who said that not even 500 people were coming to Kodandaram’s meetings, as to why KCR was resorting to arrests of Kodandaram. “Why KCR is afraid of Kodandaram? As to why KCR appointed Kodandaram as chairman of JAC then if he is a waste fellow?“, he asked.

Targeting Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy, VH said that Nayani doesn’t know anything. “Nayani says that you have to ask Chief Minister and says that after all I am Home Minister”, he said. (NSS)
