Hyderabad: Shamsabad Special Operation Team and Rajendranagar Police raided an apartment in Rajendranagar area and arrested a married Afghani woman and her three children who were illegally residing with a Hyderabadi man. DCP Shamsabad Mrs Padmaja on the complaint of Afghani citizen Masood Mohammed Yaqoob sent a special operation team.
According to sources, Masood Yaqoob in an application to DCP Shamsabad told that he is an Afghani citizen. He had married an Afghani girl Niloufer. They have three children Imran, Saboon and Ghazala. As the situation in Afghanistan became worse, he arrived in India on June 27, 2013, along with wife and children. He was residing in a Kabul restaurant in Kargaun and was earning a livelihood by working in a hotel. United High Commissioner New Delhi declared them as refugees and issued UNITER certificate. He was living with his wife and children for 10 years.
On September 8, 2015, when Masood went home from work he found that his wife and children were missing. He lodged a missing complaint with UNITER office and also informed Afghan Embassy. Two years later on October 18, 2017, he received a phone call from Afghani citizen Nazeer, who informed him that his wife and children are residing in Hyderabad. He lodged a complaint with Golconda police station and requested to help in searching his wife and children. He spent 5 days on the footpath and made rounds of the police station but no one helped him. The Afghani citizen demanded Rs. 50000 to help him. Masood gave him the amount. After 15 days police called one Mohammed Jalaluddin Akbar to police station who is said to be a motor mechanic in Lanco Hills. Jalal who was already married with 4 children told Masood that he has married Niloufer; she and her children are content with the life. Hence he asked Masood to go away. Masood hired a lawyer to seek legal help, who took Rs. 80000 as his fee. Meanwhile, Masood came to know that Nazeer and advocate cheated him.
Masood stayed in a hotel at Nampally for 4 months and searched his family. Meanwhile, on February 16, a woman named Rubina reached the hotel. She introduced herself as the wife of Jalaluddin. She told that Jalaluddin has abandoned her and is living with Masood’s wife and children. Rubina informed that Jalaluddin is residing in Aman Tower near Bharat petrol pump, Suleiman Nagar, Rajendranagar.
Rubina revealed that her husband and Rubina are running a sex racket and supplying Afghan citizens. When Rubina approached Rajendranagar police to lodge a complaint against her husband, police refused to register a complaint and asked to make a complaint with Narsingi police. Narsingi police too refused to accept the complaint.
Rubina along with Masood approached MBT leader Amjadullah Khan and explained the details. On the representation of Amjadullah Khan DCP took action and arrested Niloufer and Jalaluddin and shifted them to jail. Children were shifted to government hostel.
