Mr. A.N. Rai, IPS, former DGP of Maharashtra and Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed, IAS, former Chief Secretary of Govt. of Rajasthan have been appointed as Advisors to Governor of A.P. consequent on the imposition of President’s Rule in A.P. They have taken charge and their chambers have been allotted in Secretariat.
Dr. P. K. Mohanty, IAS, Chief Secretary issued orders allotting them various departments. Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed has been allotted 16 departments whereas Mr. A.N. Rai has been given 11 departments. The Principal Secretaries of these departments have to send their files to the Governor though Dean Advisors.
