The best use of the amount gained through the Naat competition is in acquiring education.
Muslims were very much depressed after police action.
Attempts were made to improve their condition by developing education system, conducting such literary competitions is one such attempt. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily on the occasion of prize distribution of Naat-e-Shareef competition held last month for students. The amount of the prize has been enhanced three times. Further enhancements would be made in the future also.
He congratulated the prize winners.
He also offered to publish the Urdu Translation of “Kaseeda Burda Shareef” which is written in Arabic.
Dr. Mohammed Shareef, Professor of Arabic of Osmania University in his speech told that Naath-e-Shareef is a poem written in praise of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). He told that the recitation of Naat-e-Shareef is also a form of worship. He desired Siasat Institution to organized Quiz competitions on Seerath Unnabi also.
Dr.Syed Shujauddin Aziz conducted the meeting and proposed the vote of thanks.
