As the Bharatiya Janata Party inches closer to ending the 10-year-long UPA rule and forming the government, as per opinion polls, party patriarch LK Advani wants to make sure that the party puts up a united front.
Advani whose differences with the party’s prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi has been out in the open said on Sunday that he was ready to take up any role the party bestows on him after Narendra Modi-led NDA forms government post elections.
In Ahmedabad, Advani said, “This time government will be formed under Narendra Modi, nobody should have any doubt about it. Post election whatever role my party will give me, I’m ready to take up.”
