Dear readers! We want to call your attention towards a serious issue. Now a days nude and vulgar filmi posters are installed on bus stops which are disgusting to look upon. How can innocent children, respectable women and men, girl and boy students stand on such bus stops which have nude and vulgar posters pasted on their walls?
Bus stops are erected to provide shelter and for the convenience of the commuters but how can someone sit or stand there with such disgusting hoardings at their back. There is nothing wrong in installing posters for gaining income but RTC should also consider regarding its harmful effects on young minds. Hence vulgar and lustful advertisements should be avoided. These are promoting impudicity among young generation.
Our society still has joint family values and brothers and sisters, mother and father together arrive at bus stops. How can a modest woman stand up with such vulgar posters at the bus stops?
For instance some ladies were standing away from the bus stop waiting for their bus. When we asked them why are they not using the facility of bus shelter provided for their convenience? They replied “you yourself go and see there. If you see the pictures inside it you won’t like to go near it.”
School students too have to say the same story “yes there are bus stops near our school. But every week new posters are pasted there which are nauseating since they are vulgar and nude.”
Police every now and then arrest road Romeos and eve-teasers. When we talk about eve-teasing nuisance, we should just think about it that do such vulgar and lustful posters not incite them for these dirty behaviour?
