A meeting of Sadath Educational and Welfare Society was held under the Chairmanship of Prof. S.A. Sukoor President of the Society at Madina Education Center at Nampally yesterday. Mr. S.S. Samiullah Hussaini, General Secretary presented the agenda and informed the members that so far Rs. 85, 000 has been collected as donations. Mr. K.M.Arifuddin suggested that a campaign should be started for providing education to the children of Sadath families. It was suggested that the philanthropists should donate Rs. 7,000 for meeting the educational expenses of one child from 1st to 5th Standard. For further details, please contact Rs. Mr. Aliuddin Quadri, General Secretary of the Society proposed that meetings should be arranged after Friday prayers in mosques. Dr. Rahman Khan told that there are many destitute and handicapped children belonging to Sadath families are left without any financial assistance. He suggested that donations of Rs. 1000, Rs. 2500 and Rs. 5000 should be collected. Mr. Syed Faheem Quadri, Treasurer suggested that monthly meetings of this society should be conducted regularly. Mr. Mohammed Attaullah, advocate thanked the audience. Maulana Sayeed Quadri prayed for the society.
