Usually love marriages result in failure and in some cases the lovers lose not only their modesty but sometimes lose their lives too. The couples also bring a bad name to the family and society in which they live. Several incidents have occurred in the city in which the husband killed the wife after performing love marriage, or the husband committed suicide dejected with disobedience of wife or suspecting his wife of infidelity.
In an incident occurred a week ago, 22 year old Nasir resident of Yakutpura killed his wife Farheen (18) and burnt the body on railway track. The couple had performed love marriage 8 months ago.
In another incident a student of Osmania University killed her girlfriend as the game of love proved dear to him. His girlfriend was insisting for marriage on becoming pregnant.
