Hyderabad: Admissions are in progress in ‘Women Studies’ subject in Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). Medium of instruction is Urdu. The Department offers MA, M.Phil and PhD courses. No entrance is required for admission in MA. Admission is given on merit basis. Candidate must have passed graduation in any discipline with 40 pc marks.
Entrance (written and viva) is compulsory for admission into M.Phil and PhD courses. Admission will be given on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance.
There are separate hostels for boys and girls. University offers scholarships for M.Phil and PhD research scholars. MANUU has given special concessions to girls/women. Admission form is being provided at concessional rate of Rs. 200. Besides, the university has waived tuition fee for first semester for women candidates.
