Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today said Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar should not have adjourned the house for the day after the BJP and his party legislators raised the issue of non-implementation of the assurances given to government employees in Telangana region during the ‘sakalu januala samme.’ Talking to mediapersons at TDLP office in the Assembly, he said the adjourning of the house is very sad without addressing the issue by the government.
The Chief Minister’s statement in the house lacked clarity, Mr Naidu alleged, adding the former should reveal on why the assurances given to the government employees was not fulfilled so far. He also asked the Chief Minister to explain what was the difficulty for the government in lifting the cases registered against the employees for taking part in the general strike. If the house was not run properly, it will send a wrong signal to the people, the opposition leader in the assembly said and questioned the state government why it had not implemented the assurance on forming a committee for implementation of 610 G.O.
