Ichoda: On Thursday, obeying the instructions given by the community leaders and village elders, Adivasis boycotted caretaker CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s meeting held at Ichoda and this is the first time they boycotted Mr Rao’s meetings openly.
Both in Ichoda and Khanapur, not more than 200 Adivasis were seen in the meeting. Congress leader and ticket aspirant Kotnak Ramesh and his sister joined TRS in the presence of CM, KCR at the Khanapur meeting.
An Adivasi student of Ichoda attended the meeting and pleaded not to take his photographs as his community would kill him if his photo appeared in a newspaper.
He said he had come to the meeting to see Mr Rao as he had never seen him, but his community had boycotted the meeting.
