Abu Dhabi, December 06: The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) announced the ten winners in best car decoration competition in the occasion of UAE’s 38th national day.
A specialized committee has chosen the ten winners from 350 cars flocked from all over UAE in the past three days to ADACH celebration location on Abu Dhabi Cornish.
ADACH has launched the cash prize competition in reward for the spontaneous reaction from the nation to celebrate the national day whether by UAE nationals or other nationals. Many decorated cars with ruler’s pictures and UAE flag were seen in the national day parades all over UAE. The competition aims to dedicate the civilized ways to celebrate the national occasions.
Abdullah Al Ameri, director of culture and arts department in ADACH said “the committee was seeking creativity in decorating the cars and the use of artistic ideas to show the love and belonging to the country. Most of the decorated cars showed the spirit of the nation and how proud to belong to UAE and its figures”
ADACH decided to organize the competition every year in celebration of the national day.
On the other hand more than 640.000 people has witnessed ADACH three-day celebrations in the national day occasion in Abu Dhabi , Al Ain and Western Region which included multi-activities for children, and adults in addition to the live Arab singers concerts.
20.000 people witnessed the cultural and heritage activities on Abu Dhabi Cornish in the past three days and 120.000 people enjoyed the live concerts in the whole emirate of Abu Dhabi; 65.000 in Abu Dhabi, 30.000 in Al Ain and 25.000 in the western region.
The world largest fire works was witnessed by more than half million people in all Abu Dhabi emirates among them 350.000 on Abu Dhabi Cornish and around emirates palace in addition to more than 150 people near ADNEC, Shaikh Zayed mosque, Al Butin Marina and beach Palace hotel at Al Salam Street.
