The SR Nagar police nabbed two high-profile drug consumers in the early hours of Saturday near Food World, Dharam Karam Road and recovered ten pouches of one gram each of cocaine, Skoda Car AP 35 K 5555 and three cell phones. The police stated that Abhishiek Kumar was involved in two cases of Gaming Act under SR Nagar PS in 2005 and Panjagutta in 2006.
According to G. Sudheer Babu, Deputy Commissioner of Police, West Zone, Hyderabad, The principal accused Abhishek Kumar, 31, is a Telugu cine actor residing at Flat No. 201-A, Tirumala Apartments, SR Nagar and Road No.10, Hemanagar, Nacharam and the second accused Golla Srinivasuluulu, 24, of DNM Colony, Sanathnagar and native of Girnapally village under Rama Kuppam mandal of Chittoor district.
The DCP has stated that Abhisheik Kumar migrated to Hyderabad from Muradabad in UP in 1999. Since 2002 he was acting in Telugu movies like “Iyet, Yela Cheppanu, Nuvastavante Nenu Vaddantana, Danger, Sashi Rekha Parinayam, Gamyam, Kalidas, Gaganam” and also doing some other pictures now.
A case was registered in Cr No: 924/2012 U/S 21 (b) of NDPS Act of PS SR Nagar. The case is being investigated by S. Prabhakar, Inspector of Police, SR Nagar PS, Hyderabad.
