Hyderabad, June 20: The real-life drama around television actor Dimple continues to reel out, with one of her peers, Selvaraj, today approaching the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) and seeking police protection from her.
The actor alleged that earlier too he had been under Dimple’s sights and that she had been conspiring to kill him.
Selvaraj’s advocate, SK Azad, told Express that with Dimple already in the frame of mind of making away with her boyfriend, Sridhar Verma, and committing suicide, she could well have no qualms about doing away with Selvaraj too.
“Since Dimple had earlier conspired to drag Selvaraj in the on-going criminal case against her, he fears that he might be attacked. The petition was filed in SHRC today and the hearing is yet to take place,” SK Azad said.
A few days ago, Dimple created a media furore by claiming that some unidentified persons had attacked her. This took place a day after her boyfriend, Sridhar Verma, was assaulted by unidentified persons “using spirit”.
But investigation by the Cyberabad police showed it was Dimple who had hatched the plan to attack Sridhar for refusing to marry her.
In order to mislead the police, Dimple initially said Selvaraj could be behind the attack as he had had a falling out with Sridhar Verma.
