Actor Prakash Raj confers with CM at Assembly

In a significant development, popular Telugu character actor Prakash Raj today called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on the Assembly premises on Thursday.

According to informed sources, the actor came to the Assembly along with the Chief Minister. The meeting assumes significance in the wake of KCR pitching for a Federal Front at national level for qualitative change in politics against the national parties BJP and the Congress. The actor went round the Assembly premises on the last day of the budget session and had a glimpse of the historic buildings.
It is pertinent note that the Chief Minister has been making hectic efforts for his peoples’ front and has already met with his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Benerjee. Former chief Minister of Chattisgarh Hemanth Soren called on the Chief Minister at Pragathi Bhavan on Wednesday and extended support to his alternative front at national level against the BJP and the Congress. At this backdrop, the meeting of Prakash Raj with KCR has got importance.
The Actor reportedly discussed with the Chief Minister on the current political scenario at national level and in the State. KCR is learnt to have informed the actor about the federal front plan and the schemes of welfare in the Telangana State.

Prakash Raj has been reacting swiftly on various issues at national level, including political and other issues. He also opposed political entry of Kamal Hasan and Rajni Kanth in Tamil Nadu. The actor courageously opposed the Centre and Prime Minister Narendra Modi with regard to some controversial policies and incidents. Thus, it has become a debatable issue among political and film circles with this meeting.
Prakash Raj has been making spontaneous reactions to some sporadic incidents of noted journalist Gouri Lankesh murder case in Karnataka, State and national politics and others. Prakash Raj, who is a Kannadiga, has been in the Telugu film field for several years and became popular with his awe-inspiring and multifaceted action. (NSS)
