Actor Nana Patekar expresses concern over suffering farmers

New Delhi: The ongoing protest of farmers suffering in BJP governed states is a sight of a great ordeal which is both upsetting and disheartening.

Actor Nana Patekar expressed grief over the chain of events that are unfolding leading to deaths of farmers and price hikes throughout the states. He expressed saying people from all walks of life should come forward and make efforts in order to help the farmers.

The actor previously has helped out many farmers through his Naam Foundation. Makarand Anaspure a Marathi actor who also works with Nana to provide aid to the kin of farmers said that all political parties should work together to help them.

It is saddening to watch farmers fighting for their rights in order to lead their life said, Nana.

Nana’s foundation along with aiding farmers also provides financial help to the families of the martyr soldier’s.
The strike has resulted to the hike in prices of vegetables due to which common people are facing troubles.

He will soon be seen playing an important role in Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie Kaala Karikaalan, which also has actress Huma Qureshi, as reported in India today.
