Hyderabad: Failing to obtain mandatory safety measures the Greater
Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) taking action against the violator, sealed Shah Ghouse Restaurant at Gachibowli on Thursday.
The restaurant had also lacked no objection certificate (NOC).
Reporting on the action taken by GHMC officials, K Viswajit, Director, Enforcement Vigilance and Disaster Management (EVDM) said the officials ordered the restaurant management to submit an affidavit on setting up the required fire and life safety measures within 15 days to get further permissions to reopen the restaurant after a minor fire incident occurred on Monday.
No casualties were reported in the incident as the fire was contained.
GHMC is taking stringent actions on violators across the city running illegally without any fire safety and NOC certificates.
