Action programs for Muslim victims of Burma

According to a statement made by Hafiz Peer Shabbeer Ahmed, President, Jameeatul-Ulema of A.P. and MLC, his organization has been helping the victims irrespective of caste or religion. Recently a marriage program was held in Assam on 11th and 12th May in which 110 Muslim boys and Girls tied their wedlock. In addition to this 15 couples of Bodo tribe also got married. This is an indication of national integration. He told that in Burma, Muslims are being assassinated, their Deeni Madarasas and Mosques are being burnt. In the meeting of the Working Committee of Jameeatul-Ulema held on 15th April, resolutions of condemnation against the Govt. Mayanmar were passed and important leaders of govt. of India were intimated for raising their voice against these atrocities.

Maulana Syed Mahmood Asad Madani, General Secretary of Jameeatul-Ulema is busy in the preparation of a comprehensive program of action. He wanted to visit Mayanmar but the Govt. of Mayanamar did not issue him a visa. He then went to Holland and called the responsible members of the Deeni Madarasas in Mayanamar and Negotiated with them.
