Action plan for Minorities Residential schools soon – A.K. Khan holds meeting

Hyderabad: Senior IPS Officer, Mr. A.K. Khan, DGP of ACB who is in charge of monitoring Minority Welfare Schemes held a meeting yesterday with the higher officials of the Dept. of Minorities welfare. The decisions taken in the State Cabinet were reviewed and the possibilities of their implementation were discussed. Present in the meeting were, Secretary of the Dept. of Minorities Welfare, Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, MD of Minorities Finance Corporation, Mr. B. Shafiullah, Director of Urdu Academy, Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Commission of Wakf Survey, Ms. Masooma Begum and MD of Christian Finance Corporation.

 

Mr. A.K. Khan told that the Govt. is serious about setting up 30 residential schools for girls and 30 for boys from the next academic year. The procedure for the recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff would be finalized soon in consultation with the officials of the Department.
