AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today said an action plan was being prepared to complete Polavaram project by 2018.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Chandrababu Naidu said in spite of post-bifurcation problems, AndhraPradesh State achieved double digit growth in the country. As per the RBI report, 954 billion dollars have been invested across the country, of which 15.8 per cent investments were made in Andhra Pradesh alone, Naidu added.
The Chief Minister said public toilets would be constructed in all the municipalities by 2019 in the State. The State government would take measures to interlink Krishna, Godavari, Penna, Vamsadhara and Nagavali under Water project network, the Chief Minister said.
Stating that there would be no compromise on the interests of the State, the Chief Minister said, “We have a goal to provide 50,000 cusec water to Rayalaseema from the Godavari river. We have urged the Centre to fulfill all its promises, he said. Naidu said he will enter in his chamber in new secretariat on Vijayadasami day. (NSS)
